The Cross River State Ministry of Education has officially announced the schedules for the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) for JSS3 students across the state.
The examination is scheduled to hold from Monday, 18th May to Friday, 22nd May 2026, with candidates writing two subjects daily.
Students preparing to move into Senior Secondary School (SS1) are advised to study the timetable carefully and begin proper revision ahead of the examination.

- Business Studies — 9:00am – 12:00pm

Important Information for Candidates
- All papers will last for 3 hours
- Candidates are expected to arrive early at their examination centres
- Schools should ensure continuous assessment records are properly submitted
- Students should come along with necessary writing materials
